This is the most expensive mansion for sale in Tennessee. Take a look to see why
A home on the real estate market in Franklin, Tennessee, is putting the “extra” in “extraordinary,” thanks to its dramatic design and hefty price tag.
This mansion, listed for $16.5 million, is the priciest house for sale in the Volunteer State.
For a very good reason.
“This particular home is in an incredible neighborhood. There are only 23 homes, and there are celebrities who live in the neighborhood,” listing agent Bill E. Henson Jr. told Realtor.com. “Williamson County is the seventh-wealthiest county in America.”
The 22,743-square-foot mansion sits on over 4 acres of land, which means privacy is one of the luxuries the home has to offer — along with a cornucopia of other high-end features.
The photographs paint a detailed portrait of the elegance that awaits around every corner of this property, from the soaring ceilings, to the elaborate dual staircase, to the “Romeo and Juliet” like room balconies.
Other features according to the listing include:
Pool
Three kitchens
Three bars
Nine fireplaces
Wine cellar
Ballroom complete with a stage
Dine-in movie theater
Over 100 chandeliers
Location is also everything.
“You can be at the beach within six hours and the mountains are close, too,” Henson tells Realtor. “There’s a lot going on in Middle Tennessee. Several companies (are) relocating here. You also have the music scene—and it’s not just country music.”
The city of Franklin is littered with beautiful houses once graced by celebrities. Earlier this year, the historic log house once owned by country superstars Faith Hill and Tim McGraw listed in the city for $9.9 million, McClatchy News reported. Kenny Chesney also listed his own Franklin villa named “Bella Luce” for $13.99 million in August.
Franklin is about 20 miles southwest of Nashville.
