Law enforcement is ramping up patrols and surveillance heading into the long holiday weekend after Las Vegas was cited as a terrorism target in a video circulated in ISIS online channels.

Las Vegas authorities said the propaganda video is a legitimate Islamic State product and a credible threat, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. While showing brief footage of the Las Vegas Strip, an English-speaking narrator calls for lone-wolf terrorist attacks.

“It would be irresponsible not to take any threat as credible, especially when made by a group such as ISIS, who has in fact carried out attacks in the past,” said Christopher Darcy, captain of Vegas’ Metropolitan Police Department and head of the Southern Nevada Counter-Terrorism Center.

The 44-minute video also showed New York’s Times Square.
