Lane closures for rail work in downtown Fresno

Various lanes on Ventura Street in downtown Fresno will be closed throughout the month of March between E and H streets as high-speed rail contractors work on relocating utilities in the area.

The right lane of eastbound Ventura Street between E and F streets is expected to be closed for the rest of this week.

Other lane closures include:

▪ Week of March 7-11: Right lane of eastbound Ventura between F and G streets; left-hand lane of westbound Ventura between H and F streets.

▪ Week of March 14-18: Left lane of eastbound Ventura between F and G streets.

▪ Week of March 21-25: Left lane of eastbound Ventura between F and G streets; right lane of westbound Ventura between H and F streets.

Signs will be posted to alert drivers to the lane closures, and traffic could be delayed in the area.
