Fresno city retirees award scholarships

The Fresno Organization of Retired City Employees (FORCE) awarded five $500 scholarships this year.

The winners: Derek Jenkins, an administration of justice major at Fresno City College; Amber Derpinghaus, animal biology, UC Davis; Rylie Sanders, engineering adaptive equipment for the disabled, Cal Poly; Hailey Bruce, chemistry, Fresno State; and Jeffery Lee, philosophy, Talbot School of Theology, Whittier.

Recipients must be enrolled students and related to a FORCE member for consideration.
