Huron and Coalinga students to get hands-on career experience

Twenty five Students in Huron and Coalinga will get career training in culinary arts, retail and farming operations.

The four-week internship will begin Sept. 11 with a field trip to Harris Ranch.

The program aims to teach students responsibility, accountability, trust, and self-confidence in a company.

For the past two years, Coalinga-Huron Unified School District has partnered with Harris Ranch to provide the program for at-risk high school students.
