Environmental education workshop coming to Fresno
Registration is now open for Project Learning Tree, an environmental education course at the Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District.
The class will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 6 at 5469 E. Olive Ave. in Fresno, and is $25.
Participants will take a tour of the Kearney Agricultural Research and Extension Center and can earn continuing education units.
Students will receive a free education and environment initiative unit, and can choose one of Project Learning Tree’s modular guides – Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood, Places We Live, or Focus on Forests.
Registration is open through Oct. 22 and will be available at the door.
