Wells Fargo to donate $25,000 for social initiative at Fresno Pacific

Wells Fargo will contribute $25,000 to the Center for Community Transformation at Fresno Pacific University.

As part of the Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary, the center focuses on the Social Enterprise Initiative, which works with faith-based organizations and businesses to address unemployment.

The initiative includes the Work of Our Hands Summit speakers series, the Social Enterprise Academy Workshop and the Spark Tank social enterprise contest.

The center also sponsors a financial literacy training program to educate people in neighborhoods of extreme poverty.

The donor presentation will be held Thursday at noon in the BC Lounge at the main Fresno Pacific campus, 1717 S. Chestnut Ave., Fresno.
