Inaugural car show at West Hills College Coalinga to raise funds for scholarships

West Hills College Coalinga is hosting a car show on Sept. 12 to support scholarship programs at three separate campuses in the West Hills District.

The President’s Scholarship program provides free tuition and $250 per semester for books to students at WHCC, West Hills College Lemoore and the North District Center in Firebaugh who receive the scholarship.

Registration for the event, which will feature and welcome street rods, hot rods, low riders, stock and modified cars and pick-ups, is $25 and will remain open up until the day of the show.

Set-up starts at 6 a.m., with judging starting at 10 a.m. at the Coalinga campus.
