State Center community colleges back in session

State Center Community College District welcomed students back from summer break Monday.

Class is in session at Fresno City College, Reedley College, Clovis Community College, Madera Community College Center and Oakhurst Community College Center.

Clovis Community College will celebrate its new full college status with a ceremony on Thursday, where Fresno Mayor Ashley Swearengin and Clovis Mayor Nathan Magsig will present a joint proclamation.

Clovis Community College, formerly known as Willow International Center, received its full accreditation last month and expects to expand its programs and enrollment.
