Summer theater performance scheduled for Friday
The Fresno County Office of Education’s Visual and Performing Arts department will host the 2015 Stages “Informance” titled “I. Am. Here.” on Friday in the Fresno City College Theater Arts Building.
The event starts at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Students will present pieces on racism in the 21st century and foster care in America.
Stages is a free two-week summer youth theater project designed to provide writing and educational theater opportunities for high school students in Fresno County.
The first week is at Camp Sequoia Lake developing skills in acting, writing and improvising. During the second week students meet at Fresno City College to perform the original piece written at camp.
