Back-to-school drive to benefit Boys & Girls Club of Fresno County
The University of Phoenix has joined with the Boys & Girls Club of Fresno County to collect school supplies at the university’s Central Valley location from July 20-31.
Much-needed items include backpacks, pencils, pens, notebook paper, crayons, markers, and highlighters.
Online donations can be made to help purchase supplies specifically needed by the club and its members.
“The University of Phoenix believes in the Boys & Girls Club of Fresno County and the difference it makes in the Fresno community, and we are proud to help collect much-needed school supplies for the club and its members,” said Ann Ty, University of Phoenix’s Central Valley campus director. “The university is committed to removing barriers to education, so when students start the year with the right supplies, they are more confident and can focus on learning.”
Donations can be made at any University of Phoenix Central Valley location or online at www.bgca.org/uopx.
