A student at Clovis West High School who reportedly made a threat against the school Thursday has been located and is with administrators.

A message from Principal Eric Swain to families just before 2 p.m. said the student was located after administrators received a report of the threat and is now under investigation.

“We are taking this report extremely serious and working with the Clovis Unified Police Department and other local law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of our campus,” according to a copy of the email obtained by The Bee.

Few other details were immediately available.

When contacted for more details, Clovis Unified spokesperson referred The Bee’s Ed Lab to Swain’s email.
