Fresno State’s Ag One Foundation has new president
Debbie Raven, CEO and president of Valley Small Business Development Corporation, started her one-year term as president of Fresno State’s Ag One Foundation on July 1.
The Ag One Foundation has raised more than $17 million since 1979 to support the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, with more than $2.5 million in scholarships and grants given to more than 3,500 students.
Raven previously served as the foundation’s vice president and on its board of directors as treasurer and secretary.
“I am closely familiar with the academic excellence of Fresno State, specifically with the Craig School of Business and Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology,” Raven said in a released statement. “I have been impressed with the education my employees and family members received at this university.”
Other changes to the board of directors include former Fresno State student senator John Migliazzo, elected vice president; Don Parreira, treasurer; Ken Ramos, secretary; and new board members Todd Ayerza, Denise Junqueiro and Bill Purewal.
