Madera man named to Fresno State advisory board
A Madera man was named to Fresno State’s University Advisory Board on Thursday, officials with the school said.
Tejpal “Jay” Mahil will join the panel of community members who provide advice on university development. Mahil, an alumnus of Fresno State, earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business in 1999. He is a first-generation farmer and president of the Madera County Farm Bureau.
The University Advisory Board is chaired by Sandy Brown and includes members Juan Arambula, Nancy Ayala, Armen Bacon, Barry Bedwell, Noemi Donoso, Katherine Flores, Karri Hammerstrom, Jessica Lawrence, Will Lyles, J. Michael McGowan, James Shekoyan, Julie Tone, and Zoua Vang.
