Xuanning Fu named dean of undergraduate studies at Fresno State

Fresno State announced the appointment of Xuanning Fu on Tuesday as its new dean of undergraduate studies, effective May 1.

Fu has been the associate dean of the College of Social Studies since January 2011, and has served on various committees and task forces for the university. He joined the social studies faculty in 2003 and was promoted to full professor in 2007.

Fu’s new responsibilities will include working with faculty to develop curricula and review undergraduate general education and research programs. He will also serve on committees for student academic petitions and disqualifications.
