Fresno County schools’ internet connection was restored Wednesday after an outage caused by construction in downtown Fresno unplugged schools across the region.

Clovis Unified, Fresno Unified and others did not have access to the web for most of Tuesday after a fiberoptics line was inadvertently cut at the Fresno County Office of Education amid Fulton Mall reconstruction.

The connection was restored around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
