Man jailed in Visalia shooting that killed one, injured two others
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder for a Visalia shooting in which three people were hit.
Police said Marcus Jeske, 23, was arrested after being identified as the shooter. He was arrested without incident about 8 p.m. Thursday during a traffic stop on Walnut Avenue and Court Street.
The victim has been identified as Deonte Porchia, 19, of Visalia.
On Aug. 13, three men were shot about 3:15 a.m. in the 3300 block of South Woodland Street.
Two victims were standing the front yard, and a third was asleep inside a home when he was hit by a stray bullet, police said.
The suspect possibly opened fire from a vehicle, police said.
After interviewing several witnesses, Jeske was identified as a suspect.
