Visalia Police check IDs at local bars, cite minor drinker

Visalia Police department checked identifications of customers at local bars on Friday, citing one minor.

Police officers and agents with the state Alcoholic Beverage Control agency visited multiple licensed establishments and checked for violations.

One citation was issued to a minor in possession of a false ID and consuming an alcoholic beverage.

Additional high profile and undercover investigations of establishments in the city will occur, police said.
