A woman was injured in southeast Fresno early Friday when someone shot through her bedroom window as she slept, Lt. Joe Gomez said.
About 1:10 a.m., the police department’s ShotSpotter sound-location system reported six shots in the area of 557 N. Bond Avenue. A second call led officers to a shooting victim at 621 N. Bond.
A 24-year-old female sleeping with her boyfriend and small child had been shot in her right arm, Gomez said. The injury was not life-threatening.
Six shell casings were found in front of the southeast Fresno home. Four bullets appearing to have struck the home.

Police did not locate any suspects and the victims did not hear or see anyone. Gomez said the injured female and her boyfriend admitted to being connected to gangs but said they weren’t having problems lately and weren’t sure why their home was targeted.
