Two people arrested in Visalia for suspected DUI

Two people were arrested in Visalia on suspicion of DUI during a six-hour saturation patrol on Friday and Saturday, Visalia police said.

Segura Pablo Gonzalez, 26, of Delano, and Mario Celaya, 29, of Visalia, were arrested during the patrol from 9 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday, police said.

During the patrol, 47 vehicles were stopped, seven field sobriety tests were given, two people were cited for driving without a license and one person was cited for driving on a suspended license. Officers wrote 23 citations for other offenses, and three vehicles were towed.

Visalia police will conduct additional patrols aimed at DUI enforcement, the police department said.
