Fresno man in critical condition after drive-by shooting

One man was critically injured after being shot repeatedly at Peach and Olive avenues Wednesday afternoon, Fresno police say.

Witnesses told police that a man was walking west on Olive Avenue from Peach Avenue when at least two men pulled up in a white four-door sedan and fired at the victim.

After the shooting the vehicle drove west on Olive Avenue.

The victim was already transported to Community Regional Medical Center by the time police arrived. He was shot in his upper body and leg. He was reported in critical but stable condition, police said.
