Two overnight shootings in central Fresno investigated
Police are investigating two overnight shootings, both in central Fresno.
The first occurred about 11 a.m. near Weldon and Angus avenues, where a man was hit by gunfire at an apartment complex. The second happened about 40 minutes later, when a man walking near Peach and Olive avenues was shot by someone in a car.
Lt. Burke Farrah of the Police Department’s Street Violence Section said both victims are in stable condition.
