A man was arrested Saturday night after police said he fired a gun into the air during a fight outside of a central Fresno pool hall.

Officers responded around 11 p.m. to The Rack Billiards located at 4678 N. Blackstone Ave. for reports of a gun being fired.

As officers arrived, they saw a black Honda Accord leaving, and it was believed that it was involved in the disturbance, police said. Officers made a traffic stop of the car, which had four people inside.

An investigation revealed the passenger, Jullian Duarte, 26, of Fresno, fired a handgun in the air during the fight, police said.

A loaded handgun was found under the rear seat where Duarte was seated. Video at the scene showed Durate flashing gang signs, police said. He was arrested and booked into Fresno County Jail.

Mariah Montez, 24, of Fresno, was driving the Honda and was arrested for driving under the influence, and jail records show she was also charged with accessory.
