Mercedes drive-by shooting in east-central Fresno wounds man
One man was injured Wednesday night in east-central Fresno when a man shot at him from a Mercedes sedan, police said.
The man suffered one non-lethal gunshot wound to his torso after the shooter fired three rounds at the victim’s vehicle around 11:50 p.m.
The shooting took place in the 1200 block of N. Sylmar Ave. when the 47-year-old man and his relative were checking on another relative’s apartment in the area.
The suspect is described as an African-American male, but the victims were unable to provide any additional information. Police say the motive for the shooting is unknown.
