Man arrested for allegedly running a brothel in Madera house
A man was arrested in Madera on sex trafficking charges Wednesday after officers discovered a brothel being operated in a house.
Jesus Mendez Raimundo was arrested for allegedly running the brothel at at 1025 Nebraska St. Another man, Miguel Ruiz, was arrested inside the residence on a charge of soliciting a prostitute. Police said he was found hiding in a closet.
Two women were found inside and taken to sex trafficking advocates for rehabilitation.
