Man critically wounded in Visalia drive-by shooting

A man was critically wounded in a drive-by shooting just after midnight Friday in Visalia, police reported.

The shooting happened in the 2000 block of North Court Street. Police said the man was shot in the torso and taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center by friends before officers arrived.

No other details were immediately available. Police said Friday morning there were no suspects in custody.
