Suspected drug dealer arrested in Mendota
Mendota police say a man who may have sold drugs was arrested Thursday after witnesses saw him threaten another adult with a handgun. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of Sixth Street.
Daniel Rivas Gomez, 24, was arrested on gun and drug charges after police found a handgun that matched the witnesses’ description and drugs packaged for sale in his apartment.
Police found methamphetamine, marijuana and money believed to be from drug sales in Gomez’s possession.
Officers have conducted investigations at this location before and are working with the property owner to address tenant issues.
