Hanford teen threatens another youth with shotgun
A teen was arrested Thursday after allegedly threatening another teen with a shotgun on June 6, the Hanford Police Department said.
Police responded to a call about a disturbance near Greenfield Avenue and Campus Drive around 8 p.m.
A vehicle approached the 15-year-old victim, and the passenger in the car began yelling and showing gang signs and a shotgun, police said.
After an investigation, a 17-year-old was identified by the victim in a photo lineup. The suspect’s cell phone was searched, which revealed multiple photos with the suspect displaying gang signs and holding semi-automatic handguns, police said.
The teen was booked into Kings County Juvenile Center on multiple allegations including making terrorist threats, brandishing a firearm and a gang enhancement.
The names of both teens aren’t being released due to their ages.
