Deputy’s pistol stolen outside Fresno yoga studio
A handgun belonging to a Fresno County sheriff’s deputy was stolen in a smash-and-grab vehicle burglary outside a yoga studio early Tuesday, police reported.
The incident took place between 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. at Shaw Avenue and Fresno Street. Lt. Joe Gomez said the window on a Nissan Pathfinder was broken and a backpack containing the Smith & Wesson .45 caliber pistol, along with three magazines, was taken.
There were no suspects.
