Mexican man convicted of operating Fresno methamphetamine lab

A Fresno federal jury found Humberto Bucio Delgado, 41, of Mexico, guilty of possession of methamphetamine and conspiracy to distribute the drug June 8 after a two-day trial.

Delgado faces a sentence of 10 years to life in prison. Sentencing is set for August, at which time the court will determine the length of the actual sentence.

Delgado was arrested at a meth conversion lab in a Fresno residence in September 2014, according to court documents. Agents recovered more than 60 pounds of methamphetamine as well as the materials used for manufacturing and distributing it.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Kathleen A. Servatius and Daniel J. Griffin are prosecuting the case.
