Man reports attack and robbery while out for southwest Fresno jog
Fresno police are investigating the report of a robbery of a man out for his morning jog Wednesday in southwest Fresno.
The incident took place shortly after 7 a.m. at Fruit Avenue and Kearney Boulevard. The victim’s son said his father likes to run along the grass median on Kearney next to Chandler Downtown Airport.
As the jogger approached Fruit Avenue, he was confronted by three teens who jumped him and knocked him to the ground before taking his wallet. The trio then ran south into a subdivision. The victim reportedly sustained scratches and bruises.
