A Lemoore man was convicted this week of distributing child pornography, Acting United States Attorney Phillip A. Talbert said.

Robert Wallace Smith, 37, was convicted on one count of distributing child pornography after his computer, containing 388 videos and images of child sexual abuse, was seized following a warrant filed in December 2011.

When he is sentenced Sept. 12, Smith faces a mandatory minimum of five years in prison, and up to 20 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.
