Two sisters arrested, a third wanted in Corcoran assault
Two sisters have been arrested and a third is wanted after an assault in Corcoran on May 19, police said.
Police say three sisters allegedly attacked another woman after she tried serving child custody papers to their brother. One of the sisters brandished a knife, according to police, and the victim’s friend was cut after she tried to intervene. The injury was not life-threatening.
On May 23, the Hanford Police Department arrested sisters Alora Wills, 21, and Amber Douthard, 26, and booked them into the Kings County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, battery and threats.
Corcoran Police are asking for help in locating Vanessa Wills, 24. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Corcoran Police Department at 559-992-5151.
