Student arrested after online shooting threat to Visalia school
A student at La Sierra Military Academy in Visalia was arrested Saturday after allegedly making threats about a school shooting on social media.
According to Visalia police, the academy alerted authorities Saturday about the online post and detectives conducted an investigation. The 15-year-old student was then located at her home in Tulare and taken into custody without incident. She was booked for felony criminal threats at the Tulare County Juvenile Detention Facility.
No other information was immediately available about the threat.
