Fresno police investigating fatal stabbing

Fresno police are investigating a stabbing that left one man dead on Saturday, Lt. Burke Farrah said.

The victim was stabbed in the area of Blackstone and Grant avenues in central Fresno around 11 a.m.

Farrah said the man was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.

On Monday the county coroner identified the man as Martin Holt, 36, of Fresno.

The suspect fled the scene and has not been located.

Farrah said there were no further details .
