A former Fresno resident who has a history with local law enforcement was arrested again Tuesday, this time in Fig Garden, the sheriff’s office said.

Spokesman Tony Botti said Mkrtich “Mike” Petrosian, 35, of Glendale was arrested just after 3 a.m. Tuesday after a traffic stop near Shaw and Maroa avenues. Petrosian was booked into Fresno County Jail on a charge of driving under the influence of drugs and charges related to the loaded gun and narcotics packaged for sale that deputies found in Petrosian’s car. He was released on bail Tuesday evening.

The sheriff’s office asked for anyone with tips about Petrosian’s activities to call 559-600-3111 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 559-498-STOP (7867).
