A former Visalia music teacher was sentenced Monday to 10 years in state prison for sex crimes involving three minors, the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office said.

Gabriel Ziessler, 30, was arrested last year after a student at a music studio where he taught accused him of inappropriate touching.

He pleaded no contest to seven felony counts, including unlawful sex with a minor, between September 2014 and March 2015 in Visalia. He must register as a sex offender for life and pay restitution to the victims.
