Two arrested after string of thefts at Visalia In-Shape fitness center
Two people were arrested on Monday after a string of thefts in Visalia at the In-Shape fitness center on south Mooney Boulevard, police said.
Alisa Coronado, 19, and Jacob Mowery, 21, both of Visalia, were arrested for multiple counts of burglary, conspiracy and ID theft after detectives served a warrant in the 100 block of East Myrtle Avenue, where police found stolen property from a string of thefts the week before.
Coronado allegedly entered the women’s locker room at the In-Shape, where she stole keys found in unlocked lockers and then opened victim’s vehicles. Mowery allegedly then stole purses from the cars, where the two collected credit cards and used them at businesses throughout Visalia, police said.
