Man, woman caught in Clovis robbery, stabbing
Clovis police arrested two people who they say stabbed a man and stole his car early Friday morning.
Police spokeswoman Janet Stoll-Lee said the crime occurred around 3:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Pollasky Avenue. Isaac Briceno, of Fresno, and Jamie Linares, of Lemoore, allegedly stabbed the victim, robbed him and drove away in his car. The victim knew Linares.
Police notified other local law enforcement agencies, and the California Highway Patrol and Kings County Sheriff’s Department located the victim’s car on Highway 41 in Lemoore. Briceno and Linares were inside and were transported back to Clovis, Stoll-Lee said.
They were booked into Fresno County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, robbery and auto theft.
