Man, woman killed by hit-and-run driver in southeast Fresno
The California Highway Patrol is looking for a white sedan, possibly a Honda, after two pedestrians were struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver early Monday in southeast Fresno.
The crash occurred about 1:50 a.m. The Honda was eastbound on Church Avenue, east of Orange Avenue, in the right lane. The pedestrians, a woman and a man, were crossing Church Avenue pushing a bicycle and a shopping cart. They were not in a crosswalk.
The driver struck both pedestrians and the woman died at the scene. The man died at Community Regional Medical Center.
No other information was immediately available.
