Man held on attempted burglary after central Fresno windows smashed
A Fresno man was arrested on April 16 for attempted burglary and vandalism after he used a cinder block to smash the window of a central Fresno business, police said.
Juan Alvarado, 42, was observed around 7:50 p.m. breaking the front window of a business by officers patrolling the area of Shaw and Hughes avenues, Fresno police said. Alvarado was taken into custody without incident.
While checking the building, officers noticed a second window that had been partially broken, Fresno police said.
Alvarado was booked into the Fresno County Jail on suspicion of attempted burglary and vandalism.
