Car collides with power pole in northwest Visalia

One person was injured after a car collided with a power pole in northwest Visalia, the Visalia Fire Department said.

The collision blocked traffic on Riggin Avenue west of Denton street and closed Riggin between Roben and Shirk avenues.

Four people were in the car, but only one was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries, the Fire Department said.
