Fresno law enforcement is asking people to help locate a 2-year-old San Francisco girl whose mother was found slain April 8.

The girl, Arianna Fitts, has not been seen since late February, and San Francisco police consider her at-risk because of her age and suspicion of foul play.

Arianna and her mother, Nicole Fitts, were reported missing April 5. Nicole Fitts was last seen April 1. In a news release, San Francisco police declined to give details about how the mother’s body was located “due to the sensitive nature of this investigation.”

The two were reported to frequent areas in Fresno, San Francisco, San Mateo, Oakland, Emeryville, Santa Cruz and the Silicon Valley, as well as locations in Southern California.

Anyone who sees Arianna Fitts is asked to call 911. People with information can call the San Francisco police homicide unit at 415-553-1145 or the department’s tip line at 415-575-4444.
