Central Fresno shooting wounds man in leg

One man was found with a gunshot wound to his leg Monday night in central Fresno, the Fresno Police Department said.

The victim was a man in his 20’s who was shot in the lower leg and is expected to survive, said Fresno police Sgt. Jerardo Chamalbide. He was dropped off at a family member’s home at 2604 E. Holland Ave. around 8:30 p.m., and was later transported to Community Regional Medical Center.

The victim was uncooperative with officers about where he was shot or any suspect information, Chamalbide said.
