Police are looking for a man they say stabbed a 62-year-old man repeatedly with a garden tool Monday during a fight in central Fresno.

Lt. Joe Gomez said that Sirvon Beasley, 31, also hit the victim over the head with a blunt instrument – possibly a bat or pole. The attack happened just before 6 a.m. after an argument between the two at the victim’s home in the 100 block of North Calaveras Street.

The victim was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center, where he’s listed in stable condition.
