Auto theft suspect arrested in Visalia

A man was arrested in Visalia on April 1 after officers noticed the vehicle he was driving had been stolen, Visalia police said.

Frank Campos, 27, was driving a vehicle near Linwood and Noble avenues around 3:45 p.m., Visalia police said. When Campos was approached by officers, he fled.

During a search of the area, Campos was found hiding in a storage building near Chinowth Street and Myrtle Avenue, Visalia police said.

He was arrested and the vehicle, which had been stolen out of Porterville, was returned to its owner.
