Two men sought by Fresno police after motel room killing

Two men are wanted after a Fresno man was fatally stabbed inside a motel room on March 24 west of Highway 99, Fresno police said.

Hector Torres, 27, was stabbed inside room 223 at the Welcome Inn motel and taken to Community Regional Medical Center around 10 p.m., Fresno police said. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Detectives determined that Juan Carlos Luna, 29, a parolee and Bulldog gang member, fatally stabbed Torres, police said. A second man, who has not been identified, is also suspected of being inside the motel room during the homicide.

Luna is wanted on suspicion of murder and has an active warrant for his arrest, Fresno police said. Police are seeking information from the public to identify the second suspect.
