Gunfire erupts at central Fresno supermarket

A security guard and an apparent bandit exchanged gunfire Wednesday afternoon at a grocery store at Cedar and Dakota avenues in central Fresno.

The bandit was rushed to a hospital. The shooting took place at the Vallarta Supermarket about 3 p.m.
