Gang member with .38 revolver arrested in downtown Fresno

Fresno police arrested a man with a loaded gun near downtown Fresno Monday afternoon.

Sgt. Doug Goertzen of the auto theft team said detectives spotted the suspect walking north on Glenn Avenue near McKenzie Avenue. After making contact with the man, identified as Andrew Ramirez, 19, they found he was carrying a loaded, Smith & Wesson .38 caliber revolver. Ramirez, a Sunset Bulldog gang member, was booked on multiple firearms charges.
