A man already in Tulare County Jail on unrelated charges has been arrested in connection with a homicide in Visalia last year, the police department said.
Ricardo Reyes, 28, was interviewed by detectives on March 17 regarding a homicide that took place in March 2015, Visalia police said. He was arrested on suspicion of homicide following the interview.
On March 5, 2015, Manuel Gonzalez was found with gunshot wounds at a home on the 2000 block North Jacob Street, Visalia police said. Gonzalez later died at a nearby hospital.
Detectives focused on Reyes after leads in their months-long investigation led to him being a suspect, Visalia police said.
